About Us
I started in German Shepherds through rescuing/fostering them which led to adopting one of my own, Kaiser. As he got older I decided that I would like to have another GSD in my life and would like that one to be my foundation for breeding. So, Nyxie came into our home and she had the drive needed to compete in obedience and rally. Soon after, I brought an Australian Shepherd home. My goal is to have puppies that are all around great family dogs. Ones with the enthusiasm and confidence needed for performance sports, but also ones that are very happy to relax with the family. In other words... Shepherds with some Spirit!
In 2018, we discontinued our German Shepherd program to focus on building our reputation as a quality breeder of Australian Shepherds.
Our main focus for breeding AKC and AKC/ASCA registered Australian Shepherds is to provide families with healthy, happy companion puppies. Health and temperament is our priority which is why we fully test our dogs before breeding using genetic panels as well as OFA hips and elbows, plus yearly eye clearances.
Some of our dogs are titled in conformation and/or performance, but not all. We have shown our dogs in conformation, rally, obedience and FastCAT. Our dogs are also great at just hanging around on our small farm being companions for us. We enjoy outdoor activities with them such as hiking, boating, kayaking and paddleboarding - this breed is so versatile that they can do just about anything we ask of them. We live on a small 5 acre farm and currently do not require herding services of them, but we hope to add some livestock in the years to come.
